Experience

She began her professional career in one of the leading law firms in Industrial Property, some years later joining ACOPAT in the direction and advising of clients on Patent matters, as well as Trademarks and Industrial Design.

Currently she heads the legal and international department where she performs protection and defence strategies for Intellectual and Industrial Property portfolios.

She specialises in legal advice and comprehensive management of administrative procedures relating to Intellectual Property and acts as official attorney before the Spanish Patents and Trademarks Office, the EUIPO (Trademark and Community Design) and the WIPO (International Trademark and Patent).

As a lawyer, she acts before Spanish and Community Courts in judicial proceedings for annulment, revocation and infringement of patents, designs and trademarks. She also directs procedures of domain dispute, unfair competition, intellectual property and related rights in Spanish or Community legislation.

She acts in processes of negotiation and preparation of contracts, licenses and Patent transfers, Trademarks, Know-How and Domains and directs the judicial proceedings that fall under foreign law, for which she coordinates the ACOPAT's legal department.

In the area of international relations she focuses her work on formalising collaboration agreements and "Best Friends" and in maximising the institutional presence of this Agency. She regularly participates in courses and lectures on Intellectual Property and collaborates with the media and specialised associations providing her opinion on legislative changes or relevant news.
